Why does the 'Non-Stop' icon appear next to the cheapest fare when sometimes that fare is not non-stop?
When you do fare search on our website it will display two important details immediately: 1) The lowest fare available from each airline. 2) Which airlines, if any, offer Non-Stop options. These are the 2 most frequently asked questions about fares so we want to display this information first. However it is important to realize that while they are displayed together, they are not related. For example, you may do a search and the website will display this: When you click "Check Flights" it will display all of the flights available from Delta and how many stops each flight has. It may be that Delta has non-stop options available for $409 and if you really dislike connecting flights it may be worth it to pay more for that non-stop option. Or if you are simply looking for the most affordable price you can select the $359 fare and use some of the $50 you saved to buy some interesting books at the Airport!
This is telling us that the lowest fare available from Delta is $359 and that Delta has non-stop options available. It does not necessarily mean the $359 fare will be one of the non-stop options.
