Budget carrier JetBlue is now flying twice weekly between New York (JFK) and Samana (ASZ) in the Dominican Republic. This is the first direct service between the U.S. and the coastal Caribbean city.
Flights depart New York at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the opposite direction, flights depart Samana at 2pm on the same days.
The airline already flies to five other destinations in the Dominican Republic: Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, La Romana, Puerto Plata, and Santiago.
If you’re looking for alternative cheap flights to the Dominican Republic, keep an eye on Spirit Airlines, Delta, and United.
