As we near the end of February, most major airlines are gearing up for the Spring travel season, and we can expect to see a whole range of flight deals emerging in the coming days. Southwest is one of the first contenders, with a Spring-themed fare sale that’s running until Thursday.

This sale follows the regular ’3 Days of Deals’ style that Southwest usually runs with. System-wide discounts, 10 day advance purchase required, travel on Tuesday and Wednesday only. The discount fares are valid for travel March 6 through June 6.

Remember that you can generally get the same flight discounts at the same time with AirTran, if Southwest availability doesn’t suit you. So be sure to check both airlines before you make a booking.
