Can I give my airline ticket to someone else if I get sick or is it non-transferable?

Unfortunately, no. Airline tickets are non-transferable. This simply means that you cannot give it to someone else at all.

In fact, the airlines require you to give identifying details like your birthday to safeguard against someone changing the name on a ticket.
